New Delaware Beach Web Site Combines Information, Local Flavor Daily
Lewes, DE – Dave Burris and Merritt Burke of Adventurris Communications LLC in Lewes, Delaware today announced the launch of CoastalSussex.com, which they describe as “a new active-content web site aimed at Delaware Beach locals and tourists alike.”
“Our goal is simple,” said Burris. “Our slogan is ‘capturing the spirit of the Delaware Beaches,’ and we intend to do just that. Our readers will reap the benefits, whether they are planning a trip to the beach or they’ve lived here their whole lives.”
In addition to a comprehensive “what to do, where to eat, where to stay” business directory, CoastalSussex.com provides daily content on everything from profiles of local people to video coverage of local events and activities.
“We plan to have as much active daily content as possible,” said Burke. “And we want people to share their stories, whether they visit one weekend a year or have lived here for 100 years. There’s something special about the Delaware Beaches, and we want to share it with the world. We want to be the go-to site for people who really want to know about our area from a local’s perspective.”
Burris and Burke are both Sussex County natives who have lived and worked in the area for many years. Burris is the former owner of coastal small businesses Dave & Skippy’s, R.F. Wheaton’s and The Ad-Boat. Burke is a veteran land-use and development project manager and is the owner of Coastal Properties Consulting, LLC. Both Burris and Burke are licensed Delaware Realtors.
“We believe we have a great insight into the area, the history and the present day,” said Burris, whose roots in the area date back more than 10 generations. “It is our hope that people will join us on our journey as we learn more and more about Coastal Sussex County and the Delaware beaches.”
