Ditto that, geek.
I would recommend putting the main body posts in the center column rather than off to the left.
Otherwise, nice work Dave.
It’s going to be tough to read long comments if they appear in this narrow box, rather than below and with much wider margins.
…and in reverse order. That will take some real getting used to, if you keep it.
I didn’t know you enjoyed staring at the sun too, Joe…
I gotta finish this comment, my retinas are being etched by this page….
Oh I see now, it was a time stamp problem, not reverse order…
Jesus now I’m blind AND confused.
Help!!!
The reason the comments are out of order is that I never set the timestamp, so when I did, TPN’s comments ended up “earlier” than previous comments.
Plus, I’m going to work on the background color.
Far too much contrast. I don’t need two things in my life that I enjoy doing and will eventually make me go blind.
Very plain. Just like DEFiberal. Boring. Where is the local flavour? Pictures?
Test Comment.

This is going to take some getting used to.
Nice site. My only problem is that the font is awfully small for old folks like me.
Nice site!!
I have noticed from the FSP site that some of the comments are pretty long….this could be a problem with the comments in a small column like this.
Ditto what Tyler and Steve said about the narrow center column. Just one long post from Dana with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back would run about twenty feet. Oh, and are the Google News links really necessary? I imagine most bloggers have their own news preferences and resources. If that’s how you’re paying for the site, though, I’d at least put them south of the blogroll and topic links.
Digging the colors now, Dave. Not sure how much of a fan I am of the comments in the center column, though.
G Rex makes a very good point about that.
Classic Insult:
If my dog had your face, I’d shave his butt and teach him to walk backwards.
You asked.
Ditto what everybody else said about long comments.
But overall a nice look
